Bromothymol Blue Fish Water Plant Experiment Question Help Please!?

Experiment question help please!? - bromothymol blue fish water plant

An experiment was developed by the students of biology, to demonstrate the relationship between photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Bromothymol blue (and the display changes from blue to yellow used in the presence of carbon dioxide) was the carbon dioxide is formed when high concentrations of carbon dioxide combines with water. The following tests were created;

# 1 - 50 ml of distilled water and 3 drops of bromothymol blue were placed in a test tube.
Ml # 2 - 50 of distilled water, 3 drops of bromothymol blue and Guppy fish were placed in a test tube
Ml # 3 - 50 of distilled water, 3 drops of bromothymol blue and water plant were placed in a test tube
Ml # 4 - 50 of distilled water, 3 drops of bromothymol blue, guppy fish and aquatic plants were put into a test tube

InitIAL color in all test tubes was blue

A - identify the control, independent and dependent variables of the experiment

B - Forecast changes the color in each tube and supporting a cause, their forecasts.

BB yellow with the increase of carbon dioxide.

Change # 1 = control, no color is
Should be # 2 = yellow, like the fish to breathe and release carbon dioxide
# 3 = blue than plant is carbon dioxide and oxygen supply and utilization stay
# 4 = some kind of control, but the plants and fish can not release / use of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the balance sheet

The color is the dependent variable depends on how (changes in pH are not by the change of fish, plants, etc. - the independent variable) is affected.

Is an independent variable influencing one that can be changed at will and is presumed, or identify another variable to the dependent variable.
